If you’re wondering how to get the Gold Crown cosmetic in PEAK, the ultimate badge of honor, you have arrived at the right place.
At first glance, this cosmetic looks like a flashy and prestigious cosmetic that instantly lets others know you’ve put in the effort. It’s exclusive and also a testament to your dedication, mastery, and perseverance, as you will only get this after full completion of all achievements (badges) in the game.
Yes, this includes the new ones introduced in the Mesa update. This means the process of getting it has become a lot harder now compared to how you could get it before the latest update dropped. With that said, here’s everything you need to know about getting the Gold Crown cosmetic in PEAK.

How to get the Gold Crown cosmetic in PEAK post-Mesa update
The Gold Crown is a completionist reward in PEAK. It’s unlocked only when you have completed all badges and collected all associated cosmetics. I would recommend you play the game at the easiest difficulty setting possible, Tenderfoot, to make it simpler for you.
Unlike the typical cosmetics tied to ranks or single events, this Crown reflects total achievement mastery. This means as days go by and the devs drop new updates, the process of getting this item will only become harder. That’s because new badges will be added down the line, and they must also be completed to unlock the Crown, especially if you are starting out with that particular update.

Once every single badge is completed, including those from the latest updates, the Gold Crown cosmetic will automatically unlock. It will be added to your inventory as a visible symbol of your full achievement status.
In case you have it unlocked right from the beginning, congratulations, as you won’t be needing to do that again. Yes, you may go ahead and unlock the new cosmetics, but that won’t fetch you another Gold Crown as it’s basically the same item.
Keep a tab on your Badge progress and target the tricky ones first
Keep a progress check of the new achievements in PEAK. Check how many badges you’ve completed and which ones are remaining. Some badges are particularly challenging or have had bugs at release. For example, the 24 Karat Gold badge was bugged initially, but is now fixed.
Another one is the Aeronautics badge, where you must use six balloons simultaneously to achieve it. Getting these badges will require the best teamwork, planning, patience, and execution, so although it’s challenging, it’s equally fun getting them.
After getting the Crown, equip it proudly in your wardrobe or cosmetic slots; you have earned it!
