How to kill Bulk Fabricators in Helldivers 2

Helldivers 2 features tons of enemies and combat elements players have to keep track of to survive the massive and relentless onslaughts of enemies. One of the most notable elements are Bulk Fabricators, which are Fabricators that are much bigger and harder to bring down.

Here’s everything you need to know about destroying the Bulk Fabricators in Helldivers 2.

What are Bulk Fabricators in Helldivers 2?

Bulk Fabricators are similar to Automation Fabricators but are bigger, heavier, mega structures that are trickier to destroy. As of recent patches, they have reinforced armor bodies and require more firepower. They’re also larger, which means the several areas to attack have become harder to get to.

You can find Bulk Fabricators during Colony missions, and they serve as spawners that create large enemies such as Tanks, Scout Striders, and Hulks. They relentlessly spawn these enemies and will only stop when you destroy them. Doing this can be tough, as you first have to kill the enemies before you have a chance at destroying them.

Best ways to destroy Bulk Fabricators

Bulk Fabricators cannot be destroyed by merely shooting at them. To destroy them, you must shoot their vents and doors. They are highlighted with red lights, which signify the precise location or rough area where you should aim. While you can’t just shoot anywhere on the Bulk Fabricators, you can use several effective weapons to get the job done. 

This includes aiming a Thermite Grenade at the vents, though you have to be very accurate. Other great grenades include the G-12 High Explosive, which deals decent damage with a fuse time of zero seconds. The G-16 Impact also explodes immediately and has a great explosive range.

Other effective weapons include an E.A.T., an Airburst Rocket, an MLS-4X anti-tank launcher, and most effectively, the LAS-99 Quasar Cannon. All these are heavy artillery weapons with high area blasts that can take down Bulk Fabricators quickly and easily, with very little precise aiming necessary. Any heavy or explosive weapons should also be sufficient to destroy them, as long as your aim is accurate enough.

You can also use Orbital Gas Strike or Smoke Airstrikes to destroy these structures in Helldivers 2. These airstrikes are incredibly effective for crowd control, and when aimed at the Bulk Fabricators, they will also deal with any stragglers and hordes surrounding it. But be careful because once a Bulk Fabricator has been destroyed, a large AOE blast will damage everything around it.
