While Valve originally poured most of its resources into two big sales—a summer sale and a winter sale—it has recently been expanding into smaller spring and fall sales, as well as themed sales that focus on a specific genre, developer, or publisher. Some of this year’s past sales include a JRPG sale and a sale for games that use Steam’s Remote Play Together feature.

Curious about when Steam’s next sale will be? You’ve come to the right place.

When is Steam having its next sale?

As we arrive near Halloween, here are all the upcoming Steam sales that we know about so far. Not all of them have been formally announced, but PC Gamer compiled a short list of confirmed dates for this year. These Steam sales are going to start around noon CT on Monday, running until the same time on the following Monday.

Halloween Sale – Oct. 25 to Nov. 1

The next official sale will be the Steam Halloween Sale and it’s expected to begin at the end of October. It will be one of Steam’s biggest sales of the year and might feature horror games or titles that have spooky themes.

Steam Autumn Sale – November 22 to November 29

While Steam used to be known for its major Summer sales, it now hosts them each season. There is usually a variety of games that are discounted during each sale, games from earlier in the year will likely be discounted on Steam.

Steam Winter Sale – Dec. 22 to Jan. 5, 2023

This will be the holiday season sale and will likely be fairly big as Steam tries to get players to spend all their new gift cards. There will likely be a wide variety of games from indies to AAA titles that have hit the service over the last year

There will likely be several additional sales later next year, but their dates have not been made public yet. In addition to the upcoming Major sales, Valve is known to host themed weekly sales every so often.

This list will be updated as Valve announces additional Steam sales.
