The unnamed main character from Sifu in Amazon's Secret Level series
I love Sifu so much, you guys. Screengrab by Dot Esports via Prime Video

Every game shown off in Amazon’s Secret Level TV series

A star-studded cast.

Ignoring a certain recent movie, we’re in a video game adaptation renaissance of late—one Deadpool director Tim Miller seems intent on expanding. His recently-announced Secret Level series is an anthology covering a broad scope of high-profile games with no shortage of famous (digital) faces.

Recommended Videos

This series, which is launching right onto Prime Video this December, will consist of 15 untold stories from the world of your favorite video games (and statistically, probably your least favorite as well). Even in the scant minute and a half shown off, there’s plenty to get excited about.

Who’s going to be in Amazon’s Secret Level series?

Will all these worlds colliding, it might just be the most exciting Opening Night Live announcement we got. According to a sequence of flashing logos at the end, Amazon’s Secret Level will boast episodes based on the following games and properties:

  • Warhammer
  • Unreal Tournament
  • New World
  • PlayStation
  • D&D
  • Pac-Man
  • The Outer Worlds 2
  • Megaman
  • Honor of Kings
  • Armored Core
  • Exodus
  • Spelunky
  • Crossfire
  • Concord
  • Sifu

I was very happy to see an appearance from the unnamed protagonist of Sifu, an immensely underrated martial-arts game that deserves its time in the spotlight. There’s a decent mix of the old and the new here, with upcoming games like Warhammer: Space Marine 2 and enigmatic sci-fi RPG Exodus both getting their own episode. Kratos is also an icon, of course, but one does wonder whether his inclusion will serve as a tease for the God of War TV series Amazon is also developing.

Given that PlayStation’s logo flashes at the end rather than God of War‘s specifically, though, it seems likely that his will be more of a Sony mashup episode than Kratos’ story alone. It’s also nice to see Dungeons & Dragons here after the runaway success of the D&D movie and Baldur’s Gate 3. No word yet on how Pac-Man is going to be stretched into an hour-long episode, though.

Finally, as one last surprise, none other than Keanu Reeves makes an appearance. With Cyberpunk 2077 not among the list of featured games, it’s anyone’s guess what project he’s attached to, but it’ll undoubtedly be breathtaking. As it is, Secret Level looks like a treat for any fan of video games—and as it’s an anthology, you’ll be able to pick and choose the episodes based on games you like. I know I’ll be seated for that Sifu premiere.
