Fortnite comes with multiple weekly challenges, some of which are tricky to complete. While headshots are a natural part of the battle royale, where you’d simply shoot at the head, finding them from the above requires some strategy and the right items to pull it off flawlessly and complete the quest in one go.

Here’s everything you need to know about head-shooting the enemies from above in Fortnite

The easiest way to headshot enemies from above in Fortnite is by finding higher ground, like a cliff or building, and spotting enemies to shoot their heads. While it might sound easy on paper, it can be difficult to find those shots. Make sure to carry long to medium-range weapons like an assault rifle or sniper, shoot at enemies, and hopefully land some headshots.

Another way to get easy headshots on your enemies is using a scope. Most lower-rarity weapons don’t have a scope, so you can always visit the Mod Benches in underground bunkers. Among other useful attachments, you can also get any type of scope on your weapon by spending 75 gold. Once you have your modded weapon in Fortnite, it’s time to go out there and get some easy headshots.

You must hit 10 headshots to complete the quest, so keep your patience and aim for the head. If you can’t finish the quest, you can also use items to keep you in the air and make it easier to land precise headshots.

As we’re currently in the Marvel season, you can use the War Machine’s Hover Jets to fly up in the sky above your enemies and shoot their heads. But this isn’t permanent, so you will inevitably fall when the fuel runs down, so make sure that you deal enough damage to your enemy, or you could be sent back to the lobby. You can’t use the Iron Man’s Flight Kit item as it doesn’t allow you to shoot enemies while using it.

You can also use the recently added Birthday Medallion, which occasionally gives you a balloon, allowing you to fly and move it as a mobility item. This is also a great item to gain height on your enemies and shoot them down, but beware of them trying to shoot your balloons. If they burst your balloons, you can die from fall damage, ruining your challenge.

Some items like Flowberry Fizz or the Flowberry consumable grant you anti-gravity effects to jump higher and gain heights on the enemy to complete the challenge.
