After a showdown to take down the Dark Presence and restore the Zero point, players have finally found themselves in Fortnite Chapter 7: Pacific Break. Many new additions are coming to your Fortnite matches, starting with a brand new Golden Coast map, new weapons to take down enemies, a reviving mechanic overhaul, and many more. The Battle Pass features original as well as collaborative skins, such as Marty McFly and The Bride. If you’re looking to know everything about Chapter 7 Season 1, we’ve got you covered.

Bright Golden Coast map comes with sunshine

The new Chapter 7 brings a sun-soaked map, where the island is full of new points of interest. You can walk around, drive vehicles, or fly high with hot air balloons, which contain loot and are also a great way to move around the map. There are Wingsuits as well, which are a great mobility option to travel around.
These are the new points of interest that have been added to the map, which are great spots for getting loot and finding loot:
- Battlewood Boulevard
- Bumpy Bay
- Classified Canyon
- Humble Hills
- Sandy Strip
- Wonkeeland
New weapons to heat the battle

There is a lineup of new weapons that are more responsive with smoother ADS transitions. Here is a list of new weapons that you can use:
Iron Pump Shotgun, Twin Hammer Shotguns, Holo Rush SMG, and Dual-wielded Pump Shotguns that can tear through the enemies at close range. Deadeye Assault Rifle is a scoped automatic weapon, which is good for middle-to-long ranges.
For the long range, consider using the Vengeful Sniper Rifle. There are unique weapons as well, like the Arc-Lightning Gun, which electrocutes players, vehicles, and builds with electricity. Lastly, there is a Forsaken Vow Blade, which is good for bursting down the enemies.
Revive yourself and help your friends

When you are knocked, you now have more ways to stay in the action. You can roll and tumble to avoid shots or slide down slopes, sprint while downed using Energy, ride ziplines and ascenders, or even jump into a passenger seat to escape danger.
Rebooting has also changed since you can crawl or be tossed into the back of a Reboot Van to revive while downed, and those vans can now be driven to safer spots before using them. If you are carrying a Self-Revive Device, you can even bring yourself back up without help from a teammate.
Other gameplay changes
Here is a look at all the gameplay changes coming with the update:
- Defeat Human Bill, Hush, or Beach Brutus mini bosses to take their loot and powers, transforming into the boss with full Health and Shield, extra max stats, infinite Energy, and a special ability while remaining visible to nearby players.
- Rift anomalies can appear during Storm phases, changing gameplay in real time by spawning loot or granting match-wide effects.
- Gold Bars reset each match now, can be spent on revives, characters, and Vending Machines, and can be dropped to share with teammates.
- A new Simple Build setting helps beginners by allowing them to build automatically in the direction they look.
