How to complete Declassification side quest in Destiny 2 The Edge of Fate

While a little late to the party, the final Ikora’s side quest is available in The Edge of Fate campaign in Destiny 2. Follow the traces of items pulled to Kepler alongside Lodi and learn more about him and his former co-worker, Nella Davis.

Destroy axion bolts

The quest begins in the Outer Wastes. After you interact with Lodi’s briefcase and get spooked by the swarm of axion bolts, destroy them (or wait until they despawn) and follow the marker through the left door in the open area. Slide under the blast doors to find another briefcase on a crate.

Return to the open area and follow the marker through the middle door. After you pass an Exile Pylon, there’s a briefcase on the right side of the cliff. Interact with it and deal with the axion bolts to proceed.

Find Ares One

The final piece is behind the right door after a short section with the Relocator cannon. Go into the open room, usually filled with Corsairs, and find a part of the Ares One ship near the Relocator cannon. It’s a golden quilted panel that’s lying next to the rocks.

Interacting with the part will spawn a small patrol of Vex. Destroy them and listen to Ikora talk with Lodi about a particular weapon that you’re likely very familiar with.
