All Lightweight Frame swords and how to get them in Destiny 2

Is it The Craftening 2.0?

Destiny 2 got hit by a bug that allows you to kill raid bosses in just a few swings. This is on the same level as The Craftening back in 2023, but this time, all you need to deal an immense amount of damage is a Lightweight sword.

To do this bug, you need to have a Lightweight Heavy sword with no ammo. Jump and swing at the target to deal from 10 to 20 thousand damage, depending on the content difficulty. Keep in mind that it has to be a Heavy sword—Ergo Sum Exotic sword with a Lightweight Frame doesn’t work, unfortunately.

Here are all the Lightweight swords in Destiny 2 and how to get them.

Quickfang is the oldest of the Lightweight swords in Destiny 2, and you can pull the Year One version from Collections if you have it unlocked. The reprised version is a random roll that can appear at vendors like Xûr and Banshee-44.

Some players have reported that it might be possible to get Quickfang from the old Crucible playlists in the Destinations tab (not the ones in the Portal), as those drop Year One gear. The chances are quite low, though, considering the loot pool and long queue times.

Goldtusk

Goldtusk can also appear at Xûr and Banshee-44 as a random roll, but you can also craft it if you got the pattern during the Season of Defiance. If you have the pattern, head to the Enclave and shape the sword with any perks.

Bungie has confirmed that the fix for Lightweight swords is coming with the weekly reset on Sept. 23, so there are still a few days for you to cut through every activity in the game and farm those Tier 5 drops.
