Nox is a free battle pass reward during the Eclipse Vigil season in Delta Force. Level up the battle pass to level 15 to unlock him. After the season ends, Nox will likely be locked behind a dedicated challenge or an event.

While the Operator is free, you can take a shortcut and buy the battle pass level pack for 640 Delta Coins (around $10) to get 20 levels immediately. This is enough to get Nox, a PKM skin, and a bunch of items for both Warfare and Operations game modes.

Nox is an Assault Operator who’s all about stealth. Track down your enemies without them knowing and go loud when it’s time for a gunfight. Even with recon Operators like Luna, you may not see Nox coming, so keep your eyes open.

Here are all of Nox’s abilities in Delta Force:

  • Silent Assault (Ultimate): Activates jammers, disrupting nearby enemies. Significantly reduces Nox’s sound range and enhances mobility. While in Silent Assault, enemy recon gadgets can only detect Nox’s initial position at the moment of activation. In Warfare, Nox is undetectable.
  • Whirlwind Disc: Equips a disc that locks onto enemies. It automatically tracks enemies and explodes in proximity with shrapnel, dealing damage, slowing movement, and inflicting bleed. Locks onto targets faster from behind. If you throw it without locking it onto an enemy, the disc explodes shortly after impact.
  • Tactical Flashbang: Throws a flashbang that detonates briefly after impact, blinding and stunning enemies.
  • Deep Trauma (passive): Enemies damaged by Nox take longer to use meds, and downed enemies take longer to revive. In Warfare, Deep Trauma delays enemy health regeneration.

The core kit feels obnoxious (pun intended) to play against, especially in Operations. Whirlwind Disc, paired with Deep Trauma, promises to leave any enemy defenseless. On top of that, if you use Silent Assault to set up for the engagement, there’s not much that can stop you, especially if the enemy isn’t paying attention.

Nox is a new Operator, so it’s still early to say where he’ll end up in the overall meta, but D-Wolf and Vyron certainly have competition.
