After being forced into early retirement due to a thumb injury before the 2021 season, ZooMaa turned to content creation as a member of the New York Subliners, focusing more on his stream than ever before. With this focus on content came the creation of The Flank, a live show and podcast dedicated to recapping matches and news within the Call of Duty League.

The show was an immediate hit, with ZooMaa’s subscriber count on Twitch surpassing 15,000 during the CDL season. The Flank became the go-to place for post-match discourse between pro players and fans. He and the Subliners parted ways in September and most fans expected that he’d sign with a new organization later in the year.

Now, ZooMaa returns to FaZe, where he spent over four years competing in Call of Duty, winning multiple championships with the organization. And he’s bringing The Flank and co-host Ben Nissim along with him.

“It just felt right in my heart,” ZooMaa said of the move. “There was no other team I wanted to join than FaZe Clan. No other team.”
