Oblivion Remastered throws a ton of information in your face throughout the game, with Stats among those that can cause confusion. Fortunately for you, we’re here to assist with a breakdown of what they all are.
Stats in Oblivion Remastered affect pretty much everything to do with your character, including health, damage output, and everything in between. Therefore, focusing on improving the right stat is crucial to success.
Every stat in Oblivion Remastered

Stats, or attributes, are determined by several factors, including the Race of your character, the Birthsign you selected, and your character’s origin. They can be increased further by levelling up, allowing you to choose where to focus.
Strength
Strength is the core stat behind the damage output from your melee attacks, with a higher strength stat resulting in more damage when attacking with Longswords, Claymores, Maces, War-Axes, Warhammers, and fists.
The benefits don’t end there, as increased strength allows you to carry more items without being encumbered and also provides a slight boost to maximum health.
Intelligence
Intelligence is directly tied to Magicka in Oblivion Remastered, the key resource for anyone utilizing the plethora of spells available. Increased Intelligence leads to more Magicka, which results in casting spells more often or using powerful spells that cost high amounts of Magicka.
Willpower
For spellcasters, Willpower provides increased Magicka regeneration, resulting in better outcomes in longer fights, but it isn’t a stat that is solely beneficial for spellcasters, as it also provides physical boosts too.
Increased Willpower provides more Fatigue to a character, resulting in more physical actions being completed before Stamina depletes.
Agility
Another stat that directly impacts Fatigue, a higher Agility stat boosts maximum Fatigue, resulting in the ability to run, jump, and dodge for longer.
Agility is crucial for those using light melee weapons and bows, as it directly impacts damage output for these weapons.
Speed
Speed is the easiest stat of them all to understand in Oblivion Remastered, providing increased movement speed when walking, running, and sprinting, as well as faster swimming when in a body of water.
Endurance
Endurance is perhaps the most important stat of all, increasing maximum health and determining your health regeneration. A higher Endurance stat also increases the amount of additional health received when leveling up your character.
Personality
Much like it does in the real world, the Personality stat impacts how people react to you. A higher Personality stat makes NPCs more likely to provide you with key information or give you a better deal when bartering.
Luck
Luck is another crucial skill in Oblivion Remastered, affecting all of your skills. Benefits can even be positive or negative, and while they remain down to Lady Luck herself, there are ways to push the odds in your favour.
A Luck stat above 50 results in events being more likely to have a favorable outcome, while a total below 50 results in the opposite.
