TFT Patch 13.21 notes: Item mana and Twisted Fate nerfs, Nautilus buff

Riot Games has tweaked the Teamfight Tactics Set 9.5 meta one last time for the World Championship with Patch 13.21, which features significant changes to item mana and other minor tweaks.

Patch 13.21 is the TFT Set 9.5 Runeterra Reforged World Championship update as the remaining Regional Finals tournaments and Worlds will get played through this patch. The first Regional Finals tournament took place from Oct. 20 to 22, with DarkHydra winning the EMEA Regional Finals.

A change was made to the Scuttle Puddle Portal, with Scuttle Crabs dropping even more gold for the players who are enjoying TFT Portals. Significant nerfs were applied to items like Blue Buff and Protector’s Vow, and Taric got hit with a mana nerf. 

Patch 13.21 TFT trait changes

  • Challenger: Attack speed adjusted from 30/60/95/140 to 30/65/105/150
  • Ionia: Bonus adjusted from 100/200/380 to 100/200/425 percent
  • Multicaster: Bonus cast reduced effectiveness tweaked from 55/30/25 to 55/35/35 percent

Patch 13.21 TFT Augment changes

  • Binary Airdrop: No longer will appear at Stage 2-1
  • Built Different Two: Health gap increased from 225-475 to 250-500 and the Augment will no longer appear at Stage 3-2. 
  • Built Different Three: Health gap extended from 300-500 to 300-600 and the Augment is no longer going to show up at Stage 3-2. 
  • Cybernetic Leech Three: Health increased from 225 to 250
  • Endless Hordes: Gold increased from 12 to 14
  • Golden Ticket: Chance to get a free refresh reduced from 50 to 45 percent
  • Parting Gifts: Maximum health shield increased from 40 to 50 percent
  • Riftwalk: Ability power increased from 35 to 39
  • Petricite Shackles: Augment will now provide only two Demacia units
  • Rising Infamy: Augment will now provide only two Bilgewater units
  • Stationary Support One: All rewards are now delayed until after eight player combats
  • Stellacorn’s Blessing: Attack speed increased from 35 to 40 percent
  • Unburdened One: Disabled
  • Unburdened Two: Disabled
  • Wandering Trainer: Gold increased from four to six
  • Well Earned Comforts One: Health per component was reduced from 80 to 70

Patch 13.21 TFT item changes

  • Crownguard: Ability power after shield expires reduced from 40 to 35
  • Gargoyle Stoneplate: Base armor and magic resistance increased from 25 to 30 and per enemy was reduced from 15 to 10
  • Spear of Shojin: Attack damage increased from 15 to 25 percent
  • Blue Buff: Starting mana nerfed from 40 to 20
  • Protector’s Vow: Starting mana reduced from 45 to 30

Radiant items

  • Blue Blessing: Starting mana nerfed from 40 to 20
  • Bulwark’s Oath: Mana reduced from 60 to 30 and armor increased from 20 to 40
  • Dvarapala Stoneplate: Base armor and magic resistance increased from 25 to 30 and per enemy was reduced from 25 to 20
  • Rapid Lightcannon: Base attack speed reduced from 70 to 50 percent
  • Spear of Hirana: Attack damage increased from 35 to 45 percent

Patch 13.21 TFT champion changes

Two-cost champion 

  • Twisted Fate: Stacked AoE delayed damage was nerfed from 185/275/435 to 155/235/380 percent ability power

Three-cost champions

  • Darius: Spell recast effectiveness increased from 82/85/90 to 90/95/100 percent 
  • Miss Fortune: Spell damage buffed from 225/340/550 to 240/360/580 percent and mana was changed from 10/60 to 0/50
  • Nautilus: Bonus resistance amplification increased from 35 to 40 percent, along with armor and magic resistance increased from 35 to 40
  • Sona: Spell damage nerfed from 180/270/440 to 170/255/420 percent ability power
  • Taric: Mana nerfed from 0/65 to 15/85
  • Vel’Koz: Spell damage nerfed from 245/365/600 to 220/330/550 percent ability power

Four-cost champions

  • Fiora: Health increased from 850 to 950
  • Kai’Sa: Spell damage adjusted from 75/111/240 to 80/120/240 percent ability power
  • Nasus: Armor and magic resistance increased from 50 to 55
  • Sejuani: Spell passive on attack true damage health ratio changed from 1.5/1.5/10 to 1/1/10 percent HP
  • Silco: Spell damage adjusted from 75/115/425 to 85/125/425 percent ability power and mana was changed from 0/50 to 0/45

Five-cost champions

  • Ahri: Spell steal damage increased from 90/135/1000 to 105/150/1000 percent ability power
  • Bel’Veth: Spell damage increased from 70 to 85 percent attack damage, while armor and magic resistance was buffed from 50 to 60
  • Ryze Bilgewater: Mana buff from 30/100 to 30/90
  • Ryze Piltover: Mana buff from 30/100 to 30/90

Patch 13.21 gameplay bug fixes

  • Players will no longer have Battle of Sands offered alongside Shifting Sands or Fleshing Arena.
  • All units that spawn in overtime get overtime buffs.
  • Aatrox will keep a Demacian Radiant item upon respawn and the champion can no longer pass the Darkin Blade to an ally marked for revival through Shadow Isles Ryze.
  • Upon Fiora’s spell terminating a target, she jumps to the nearest target and her target is no longer stopped from attacking during the spell.
