Best Aeros loadout in Splitgate 2

I am speed.

Splitgate 2 features three factions, each with its own focus for you to lean into. Aeros Aces are always the stars of the show. They’re fast, flashy, and always fight for bragging rights. The key to glory isn’t only your skill but also the right loadout.

The Aeros faction is all about speed, with speed boosts and improved movement. How you use that speed is up to you. You can rush in with a shotgun or constantly reposition and strike opponents from afar. One thing is for certain: they’ll never keep up.

Here’s the best Aeros loadout in Splitgate 2.

Primary weapons

The best weapon often depends on the map and the objective, but one of the better options on Aeros is the Pulse burst rifle. It’s consistent, and with the right attachments, it becomes very comfortable to use at medium to long ranges.

Here are the attachments to use on Pulse:

  • Grip: Improves recoil control.
  • Bullet Burst: Increases speed for consecutive bursts.

Unlike the Meridian assault rifle, Tempo has more recoil and feels less consistent. It’s more of an “I don’t know what to use” type of weapon. On the other hand, Cadence doesn’t deal enough damage to use it instead of Pulse.

Depending on the map, you can try out the Sprinter SMG and the Blitz shotgun. Both are decent options for when you need to get up close or control a Hotzone.

Secondary weapons

Juke is a great secondary weapon with bursts that deal respectable damage. If you’re confident in your aim, you can also go for Punch. It’s a bolt-action pistol that can two-shot an enemy. However, most of the time, you need a secondary to quickly clean up the kill, so Juke is a more reliable option.

You can have one attachment on the secondary weapon, and here’s the one to use on Juke:

  • Laser Sight: Reduces spread and increases accuracy.

Equipment

Stim Shot is by far the best equipment for Aeros in Splitgate 2. It instantly starts health regeneration, and while you can’t immediately jump back into the fight if you are low health, it’s still better than waiting for regular regeneration.

Shock Disc can be strong in the right hands, but it’s almost impossible to land a precise hit with it, especially when everyone is constantly portaling.

Perks

Perks can improve your reload speed, movement, ability cooldown, and more. The buffs from these perks are small (ability cooldown reduction is around three seconds) to avoid breaking the game, but you should still take advantage of them as much as possible.

Here are the best perks on Aeros:

  • Perk one: Rapid Recharge
  • Perk two: Hustle

Rapid Recharge reduces equipment cooldown, increasing Stim Shot uptime for quicker gunfights. Other decent perks in this slot are Fast Hands for quicker Pulse reload and Speedy Slayer, especially if you’re fighting a lot up close.

Hustle increases sprint speed. You can also go for Sliiiiiide for increased slide length or any of the perks that improve Aeros’s Rush ability.
