Swinging above the New York City streets in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 can be fun. But if you grew up with the Spider-Man movies, it can make you feel nostalgic. Luckily, Spider-Man 2 lets you unlock and equip all the iconic Spidey suits from the films you remember.
However, it’s not just one Spider-Man film highlighted, but all of them. Everything from Tobey Maguire to Andrew Garfield, and even animated Miles Morales are included. It’s what every Spider-Man fan wants to see in a game like this.
Here’s how you can get all the Spider-Man film suits in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2!
Unlocking the Sam Rami (Tobey Maguire) film suits in Spider-Man 2
The first to put on the webbed suit in the Spider-Man films was Tobey Maguire in the three Sam Rami-directed franchise. His version of the suit was iconic, being the very first Spidey to swing onto the big screen. Two of his suits are included.
These suits are only for Peter Parker since they are based on the movies where he is Spider-Man. Each of them also doesn’t have any variants, so you unlock only one version.
The Webbed suit
Getting the original Tobey Maguire suit is pretty easy. All you have to do is reach level 32 in order to make it available for crafting. It costs 65 tech parts and two hero tokens to unlock. For many Spidey fans, this suit is nostalgic if you saw the first Spider-Man movie in theaters. You might start hearing the Chad Kroeger song “Hero” in your head as you swing.
The Black Webbed suit
Want to throw some dirt in someone’s eye? You can also unlock the black version of the Webbed Suit from Sam Rami’s third Spider-Man film. The film might not have been great, but the suit itself was a big standout for many fans.
You have to gain enough experience to reach level 31 by completing missions. It costs 64 tech parts and two hero tokens to unlock. You may not be able to bully everyone when wearing this suit, but you can still bully some bad guys who are up to no good in the city.
Unlocking the Andrew Garfield film suits in Spider-Man 2
The second actor to become Spider-Man was Andrew Garfield. His two Amazing Spider-Man films were released before things took off for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He returned as Spider-Man again in Marvel’s Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Like the suits based on the Sam Rami films, these suits are only for Peter Parker. None of them can be equipped to Miles Morales.
The Amazing suit one
Unlocking the first Amazing Spider-Man suit requires you to reach level eight. You can earn this suit pretty fast if you complete some story missions and a few side missions in the city. It costs 30 tech parts and one city token to unlock.
The Amazing suit two
The second Amazing Spider-Man suit can also be obtained early on. All you have to do is reach level nine, and you’ll gain the option. It costs 35 tech parts and one city token. For many, this was the best suit Andrew Garfield used as the wall-crawler.
Unlocking the MCU (Tom Holland) suits in Spider-Man 2
The third actor to play Spider-Man in live-action was Tom Holland in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films. Not only were there suits for the three Spider-Man films that focused on Peter Parker, but there were additional suits that were from various Avengers films that included Spider-Man.
Because of that, Holland’s version has more suits than the other live-action interpretations, which also means more suits to use in Spider-Man 2.
Homemade Suit
The first suit Peter Parker uses in the MCU isn’t exactly what anyone expected. It’s more of a prototype of what will eventually become the original suit he’ll often use. To unlock Tom Holland’s first Spidey suit, you’ll have to reach level 23. Crafting the suit requires 50 tech parts and four city tokens.
Upgraded Classic suit
Peter Parker gets his upgraded suit from Tony Stark in Captain America: Civil War. It’s a classic design for the suit, but with a little Stark Tech added in.
To get the Upgraded Classic suit, you’ll have to get to level 35. Unlocking it requires 75 tech parts and five city tokens. Unfortunately, none of those extra Stark abilities come with the package. That’s a bummer.
Upgraded suit
The second version of the MCU Spider-Man suit comes from the movie Spider-Man: Far From Home. In that film, Peter makes a new suit from one of Iron Man’s suitmakers in order to fight Mysterio and save New York. To get this suit, you’ll need to be level 41. Crafting the suit also requires 85 tech parts and two hero tokens.
Stealth Suit
The other costume that Peter Parker uses in Spider-Man: Far From Home is a stealthy variant. In the film, it’s labeled as the Night Monkey, but we all know better. Obtaining the Stealth suit means reaching level 46. You’ll also need 95 tech parts and six city tokens to make it. Then you can be the “night monkey” in New York City.
Iron Spider suit
The Iron Spider suit comes from Peter’s new suit in Avengers: Infinity War. It’s an upgraded suit that lets him use mechanical spider arms and other Stark Tech during the battle against Thanos.
Getting this suit requires you to be level 54. Crafting the suit requires 110 tech parts and three rare tech parts.
Black and Gold suit
This is a variation of the Upgraded Classic suit Peter uses in Spider-Man: No Way Home. In the movie, the suit is given to Peter by Doctor Strange and comes with magical properties.
To get the Black and Gold suit in Spider-Man 2, you’ll have to reach level 60. Making the suit after hitting the necessary level requires 115 tech parts and three rare tech parts. No magical abilities come with it, unfortunately.
New Red and Blue suit
The final shots of Spider-Man: No Way Home have Peter Parker putting on a classical-inspired version of the original Spider-Man suit. He swings through a winter New York City onto new adventures in the MCU. The New Red and Blue suit unlocks when you hit level 58. To craft the suit, you’ll need 115 tech parts and three rare tech parts.
Unlocking the animated Spider-Verse suits in Spider-Man 2
Outside the live-action Spider-Man movies, there were some iconic animated looks that fans loved. Miles Morales made a big splash in the recent Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse films, which have two theatrical releases and one more upcoming film.
These suits have a special effect on them when equipped that mimics the look seen in the animated films. Their frame rate is lower than everything else in the game.
Into the Spider-Verse Noir suit
The Spider-Man Noir outfit seen in both animated films can be unlocked once you reach level 32. You’ll have to complete a number of side missions or get far in the main story to reach the level quickly. The suit can be crafted for 50 tech parts and four city tokens.
Not only does the suit come with a low frame rate effect, but you can also do a special trick while swinging. You’re able to do a quick Rubik’s cube midair, which is the same one from the movie that Spider-Man Noir has.
This suit is also only for Peter Parker to equip.
Into the Spider-Verse Miles Morales suit
The animated version of Miles Morales’ suit can be obtained when you reach level 30. It’s exclusive to Miles and is inspired by the first animated film he stars in. The suit can be made for 60 tech parts and two hero tokens. If you want to relive the moment when “What’s Up Danger” was playing in the background, now you can do so.
Into the Spider-Verse SB suit
Remember the homemade suit Miles Morales makes in the first Spider-Verse film? When he has a cape on and is swinging with Peter Parker early on? You can obtain that same suit in Spider-Man 2 in all of its goofy glory.
The suit is unlocked at level 33 and can be crafted for 70 tech parts and five city tokens. Only Miles can use this suit. It might not be one of Miles’ best looks, but it sure is a goofy one to look at when swinging through New York City.
Across the Spider-Verse suit
The newer suit Miles Morales has from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the second movie to feature Miles, can also be unlocked. You can get the option to craft it when you reach level 44 after completing enough missions. The suit can be made with 95 tech parts and two hero tokens.
Although similar to the original Spider-Verse suit for Miles, there are a few visual differences. Like the previous suits, it comes with a filter to mimic the look of the movie and is only available for Miles Morales.
