Two new weapons will be available on the PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds test server this week, the game's developer confirmed.

The first weapon is a light machine gun, the DP-28. It will be available all over Erangel as a random loot drop. The second weapon is an AUG A3 assault rifle, and it will be exclusive to care packages.

The two new guns are expected to be a part of another update for the game's test server, which should include a slew of new optimizations and further gameplay improvements as part of PUBG's huge 1.0 update.

Last week's run on the test server included the highly-anticipated vaulting and climbing update, as well as optimizations to make the game run more smoothly. Players also datamined the new desert map's minimap.

No timetable has been given yet for the next update or when the test server will be live, but it should happen within the next few days.
