All removed players from NBA 2K25
There are more than 10 players who have been removed from NBA 2K25, with some names having elicited some passionate responses from the fan base. There are former NBA champions, all-stars, and popular players being removed from the game, but supporters can hold out hope that they might be added in an upcoming patch.
Here are all of the removed players from NBA 2K25’s official roster:
- John Wall
- Andre Iguodala
- Blake Griffin
- Serge Ibaka
- Goran Dragic
- Meyers Leonard
- Nerlens Noel
- Will Barton
- Noah Vonleh
- Dewayne Dedmon
- Frank Kaminsky
- Rodney McGruder
- JaMychal Green
Andre Iguodala and Serge Ibaka are major subtractions from NBA 2K25, seeing as they were huge parts of championship-winning rosters. Iguodala won four NBA trophies with the Golden State Warriors and was a veteran leader for a superstar-laden roster, while Ibaka was an essential piece on the Toronto Raptors’ road to glory in 2019.
John Wall was a superstar point guard for most of his career but has fallen off after multiple injuries sidelined him. He was one of the most talented players in the league during his prime, was considered by many to be a top-five player at his position, and was a five-time all-star.
In a similar vein, Blake Griffin is one of the most explosive dunkers in NBA history and was a part of the exciting “Lob City” Los Angeles Clippers roster. He and Wall never won an NBA championship, but their impact on the league and its fans can’t be understated.
As a result, their disappearance from the game’s roster will be disappointing for fans of these former stars.
