Marvel Snap’s latest update went live this afternoon, changing a handful of cards while also adding an all-new feature to the game called a Bounty Boost Week.
The name kind of says it all, but Bounty Boosts will happen from time to time and offer Marvel Snap players a boon toward their Alliance bounties for the week. For this week, the boost is to celebrate today’s new card Araña and also the premiere of the new Disney Plus show Agatha All Along.
Araña is the latest in this season’s SpiderVerse-centric cards, a one/one that’s an Activate card with the ability to “give the next card you play plus-two power and move it to the right.” In that spirit, the Bounty Boost is similarly themed.
For the boost, there are double points for Move-related bounties, double points for winning with Move cards, and increased appearance rates for Move bounties.
For Agatha, meanwhile, the boost concerns the new MCU show starring Kathryn Hahn, which serves as a sequel to WandaVision. So, naturally, playing with Agatha, Wiccan, Speed, Scarlet Witch, or Vision will earn double points as well.
Unfortunately for gamers, this week’s Alliance rewards are nothing special (Boosters, Credits, and a Mystery Variant), but we can’t win everything. For now, though, it’s good to see Alliances being put to use to encourage players to use different kinds of cards and decks in an effort to shake things up periodically.
Second Dinner says next week will have another series of Bounty Boost changes, so this could be a fun new twist on the card battler for players to look forward to in the future and moving forward.
Araña is available now in Spotlight Caches, or in the Token Shop for 6,000 Collector’s Tokens. Agatha All Along premieres tomorrow at 8pm CT on Disney Plus.
