During the State of Play Japan livestream on Nov. 11, the developer revealed a new trailer for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls’ second closed beta, running from Dec. 5 to 7. The beta will be available on PlayStation 5 and will run for the entire weekend without any breaks.

In the upcoming beta, previously announced Spider-Man and Ghost Rider will be playable alongside two new stages, Savage Land and the X-Mansion. Each stage features unique features, Easter eggs, and gimmicks. X-Mansion, for example, has only one area, but it undergoes dramatic changes as the fight progresses. You can also see Psylocke, Beast, and Gambit, among other X-Men, standing in the background of the stage.

Apart from new playable content, the second closed beta promises balance adjustments, performance improvements, updated systems, and more, based on the feedback from the last beta. More details regarding the changes will be revealed closer to the beta test.

Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls second beta times and how you can sign up

The second closed beta begins on Dec. 5, at 2am CT (midnight PT) and runs for 72 hours until 1:59am CT on Dec. 8. During the first two days, you can try both online and CPU matches, but on the final day, only online matches will remain available.

If you played the previous beta test, you’re already registered for the second one, and a reminder email should be in your inbox in the coming weeks. Anyone who previously registered but didn’t get to play should expect an invitation email.

Everyone else can sign up using the beta program link. Create a beta testing profile if you haven’t already. A confirmation acknowledging your interest in the playtest (use the link again if needed) should appear on your screen.
