He also went into 100T's drafts.

100 Thieves bounced back from 5-8 in the 2023 LCS Spring Split to finish 10-8 overall, with two wins in the tiebreakers securing them third place by the end of the regular season. Their star player, Doublelift, shed some light on how they returned to winning ways.

The American talked about 100T’s efforts to get back on track in an interview with Travis Gafford on March 20. He explained that he actually started trying, and the team finally figured out which drafts worked for them, which made them successful in the regular season.

“I just realized Spring Split does matter, then I started trying, and you know, we’re on a seven-win streak,” Doublelift said. The player afterward outlined how he feels confident about playing scaling champions once the match goes to late game, and he can carry the games from that point onwards.

“The truth is that if it goes to late game, and I’m playing a decently scaling champ, it doesn’t have to outscale enemy AD carry, then I feel really confident that I’m just gonna carry,” the AD carry added. He also talked a bit about 100T’s drafting strategy, underlining that they feel confident and play well on “certain combination of champs.” They are currently at a point where they have figured out what works for them and what doesn’t, though, they will have to “expand” their drafts.

Doublelift also revealed how he’s confident that Cloud9 are the other best team in the 2023 LCS Spring Split right now, and they should be the opponents that 100T face in the final.
