Unlike the original Monster Train title, where Angels are invading Hell, this time, you have an uncanny alliance between the Demons of Hell and uncorrupted Gods invading Heaven to protect it from Titans. Based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews of the first title on Steam, this one is shaping up to be a unique and fun experience. But is it available to download on Xbox Game Pass?

Yes, Monster Train 2 is available on Xbox Game Pass, and you can download it right now to get into the action and build your perfect deck. Apart from that, you also have the prequel to the title to download for free if you have a subscription to the service.

While Monster Train 2 has new clans for the players, the core gameplay loop remains the same, so if you finish a title, you can also go back to another, which gives you access to more units and enemies. There are multiple clans in Monster Train 2, and you only start with two: Banished and Pyreborne.

The Banished are made up of angelic warriors, whereas the Pyreborne have dragons. All of them have the same goal of invading heaven and saving the world. As you progress in your runs and take down titans, you also unlock three more clans with more unique units and spells, such as Luna Coven, Underlegion, and Lazarus League.

Similar to the first title, each run gets harder based on your Covenant Rank, but you also get better rewards and unlock new cards to build your deck to counter specific enemy bosses. The enemies will try to destroy your Pyre Heart to end your run, but you can use your units and spells to stop them before they reach the top floor and make you run it back.
