How to unlock Darkanas in Vampire Survivors

The new free update brought new cards to your deck.

Vampire Survivors’s new 1.11 update adds five new cards, called Darkanas. They are similar to Arcanas, but are themed around the Darkasso. It’s easy to unlock them, but to do so, you need to have already unlocked some late-stage characters.

The Darkanas are available by pressing the new button on the Randomazzo screen. Because the number of cards went up, you’ll gain a free Reroll and will be able to choose between six cards instead of four, once you’ve unlocked 23 or more cards. Here are all the new Arcana cards added with the 1.11 update in Vampire Survivors.

VI – Moonlight Bolero

How to unlock: Get the Darkasso relic in Room 1665.

What it does: Spawns an additional stage boss every minute. As usual, these bosses drop a treasure chest, including Arcana Treasure chests and Black Treasure chests that can give you a new passive weapon.

I – Sapphire Mist

How to unlock: Reach a Cooldown bonus of -85 percent with Space Dude. For that, you need the Empty Tome passive item, which reduces the Cooldown of weapons by eight percent per level, so you’ll get it done after reaching level 11.

What it does: “Every time any equipped weapon fires, it has a Luck-based chance to activate again. This affects is augmented on certain weapons, that will activate two to three times instead of just once.”

X – Hail From The Future

How to unlock: Trigger a Weird Souls Purifier with Santa Ladonna. Get the Clover to evolve the Santa Javelin into the Seraphic Cry, and get to low health to make it easier to find a Rosary to trigger the Weird Souls Purifier.

What it does: “Every time you level up, a Luck-and-Level-based amount of pickups appears on the stage. The possible pickups include Gold Fingers, Gilded Clovers, Candyboxes, and Arma Dios among others.”

XII – Crystal Cries

How to unlock: Trigger a Starry Heavens with She-Moon Eeta. Evolve her Glass Fandango to Celestial Voulge with the Wings passive item and collect a Orologion to trigger Starry Heavens.

What it does: “When the character’s health drops below 20%, an Orologion is triggered. This ability recharges when reaching full Health. Defeating frozen enemies generates Crystallized Souls, that when picked up restore a bit of Health and provide little bonuses to Growth, MaxHealth, and Recovery.”

XXI – Wandering the Jet Black

How to unlock: Reach 665 Max Health with Bat Robbert. Use Hollow Heart and Metaglio Left to help you increase Max Health, or the Divine Bloodline Arcana with the Crimson Shroud weapon to use retaliatory damage to increase Max Health.

What it does: “Losing Health generates exploding projectiles. The amount of Health recovered during the run contributes to the damage inflicted by the explosions. Magnet affects the area and damage of the explosions too.”
