All items in PEAK and what they do

A lot of stuff to pick up.

Surviving the perils and cliffs of PEAK isn’t anyone’s cup of tea. That said, you can pick up a bunch of items to make the game’s inevitable bittersweet challenges a bit less agonizing.

As you climb your way through pretty and dangerous regions with hopes to reach the top, you’ll find several kinds of items—food, gear, and miscellaneous—in the wild and inside Luggages (chests). While you’d ideally want to pick up whatever is useful you come across, unfortunately, your hands only have three slots, and the only backpack you get at the start is limited to four slots.

Knowing all the available items in PEAK and what they do will help you make informed decisions, like which item to pick and which to drop. So, here’s our list.

PEAK item guide – All items, explained

As of our attempts so far, we’ve discovered over 30 items in PEAK, each offering distinct benefits and, sometimes, effects you may not like. Check out what each of them does below.

Note: Our lists of items in PEAK may not be exhaustive. We’ve only listed the items we’ve encountered so far—there’s likely much more to discover. We’ll update the lists as we find more items during our runs.

Since there’s a limitation on how much you can carry, I recommend deciding what items to pick very carefully. It gets harder as you progress through early regions and start to close in on the “peak,” so choosing what to fill your hands and backpack with plays a crucial role here.
