What are Apex Legends system requirements on PC?

Here's what you need to get started.

Apex Legends is the latest game to target the battle royale genre. Developed by the Titanfall team over at EA games, Respawn, it’s currently available on PC via the Origin store. It’s entirely free to play, similar to other battle royale games like Fortnite, offering paid cosmetics for players to purchase to customize their characters.

For XBOX and PS4 owners, you’re good to go. But PC owners might need to upgrade certain parts of their build in order to get the game to work.

At minimum, we recommend you to have the following requirements on your PC before going into a battle, to have an optimal experience:

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel Core i3-6300 3.8GHz / AMD FX-4350 4.2 GHz Quad-Core Processor
  • RAM: 6GB
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 / Radeon HD 7700
  • GPU RAM: 1 GB
  • HARD DRIVE: Minimum 30 GB of free space

If you can afford the parts, however, then EA recommends that you have these system requirements before jumping into the game:

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel i5 3570K or equivalent
  • RAM: 8GB
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 / AMD Radeon R9 290
  • GPU RAM: 8GB
  • HARD DRIVE: Minimum 30 GB of free space

Of course, if you have PC hardware that’s better than what’s listed, you should be in for a good time. You might even be able to play the game at Ultra settings— so long as your PC doesn’t overheat as a consequence.
