PlayStation has confirmed that they are working with ESL to introduce a new tournament mode to the PlayStation ethos.
The official statement goes on to say that “Once tournaments are live, you can find them under events on your PS4 system menu to view the details. Once you have signed up for a tournament, your PS4 will automatically prompt you when it is time to play your matches. There are many types of Tournaments and matches taking place, so check out the PlayStation Tournaments feature and compete!”
To find out more, be sure to check out the official announcement here. The first tournament happening in this new feature will be NBA 2K17 to coincide with the new NBA season and will run from Oct. 27 until Nov. 26.
