Where’s Forza going this year? Microsoft Studios announced at E3 2018 that Forza Horizon 4 is taking the franchise to Great Britain.

Playground Games is up this year for Forza Horizon 4, since Forza Motorsport 7 launched from Turn 10 Studios in 2017. The studios switch back-and-forth each year, keeping the overall Forza franchise on an annual schedule. Forza Horizon 4 will come to Xbox One and Windows PC on Oct. 2. It’ll hit Xbox’s Game Pass the same day.

The studio showed off the shared open-world gameplay. Other drivers on the road are all real people cruising alongside. Forza Horizon 4 also introduces four seasons to the series, all of which Playground Games showed off during the E3 press conference. Seasons change the on-screen visuals, but also how the cars drive.

It’ll completely change the way a Forza game is experienced, according to Playground Games.

Forza Horizon launched in October 2002 for Microsoft’s Xbox 360 as a spin-off of the Forza Motorsport games. Forza Horizon 2 launched in September 2014, followed by Forza Horizon 3 in September 2016.

The game is often noted for its realistic handling and detailed locations. Forza Horizon 4 looks to be no different in that regard.
