The Ray Amplifier is an important piece of equipment you must have as you progress in Dune Awakening. It’s essential for mining delicate materials such as crystals or building the cutter later on.
It’s a Tier 3 fabrication component, and here’s everything you need to know about finding and using the Ray Amplifier.

Dune Awakening Ray Amplifier location
In Dune Awakening, Ray Ampifiers are mostly found in the Hagga Basin. These are all the spots in the Hagga Basin from which you can get the item:
- Abernath’s Descent
- Arctus Cavern
- The Stairway
- The Spiral
- Southwest Bunker
- Rift Hideout
- Northern Bunker
- Northeast Bunker
- Dayside
- Barracks
- 7x CHOAM Mineral Extraction Facilities
Head towards these mining facilities and enemy outposts in the Hagga Rift, and you’ll find containers or chests around certain corners. Interact with these containers, and you will find several Ray Amplifiers inside them.
Take all the loot present inside. Apart from Ray Amplifiers, you can also find Calibrated Servok and Intel from these places.
Uses of Ray Amplifiers

Are there alternative places to find Ray Amplifiers?
Yes, you can also find some Ray Amplifiers towards the Eastern Vermillius Gap. Look for the enemy outposts in this region and loot their chests to get this item.
You can even purchase Ray Amplifiers from different merchants by spending some Solari. For example, Traj Axxari sells them for 5,000 Solari. He is the Pinnacle Station Merchant, and his location is right beside the Ornithopter. He carries a stock of 20 Amplifiers at once.
The merchant also sells other items, including Standard GRDA 44, Healkits, Fuel Cells, a Standard Sword, and more.
Can you purchase Ray Amplifiers from other players?
You can purchase Ray Amplifiers from other players, but the prices will vary significantly. To do that, you have to head over to the Exchange (an auction house) from Social Hubs like Arrakeen and Harko Village.
Alternatively, you can even trade these items with other players from your Guild.
Can you sell extra Amplifiers?
Yes, Ray Amplifiers can be sold to merchants for 25 Solari. However, I won’t recommend it as the money you get is not worth the effort.
