New characters for the upcoming fighting game Dragon Ball FighterZ have been revealed in November’s issue of V-Jump in Japan.

Tien and Yamcha will be playable in this fighting game based on the Dragon Ball manga series, which was created by Akira Toriyama in the 1990s. The game was revealed back in June as part of Microsoft’s E3 press conference and has been steadily rising in popularity ever since.

Chiaotzu, Tien’s friend, will act as a support character, similar to how Android 17 helps Android 18 in-game during super moves.

Not much else has been revealed about these two characters so far, other than their stats. Tien seems to be a balanced fighter similar to Goku, while Yamcha represents the game’s first speedy character—allowing players to create quick combos that deal little damage, in theory.

In addition to the reveal of Yamcha and Tien, V-Jump showcased an image of an original character made for the game by Toriyama—Android 21.

Android 21 is set to play an important role in the story mode, and fans hope that she will become a playable fighter in the game as well.

Yamcha and Tien bring the game’s total roster up to 15 playable fighters.
