Bandai could reveal new FighterZ characters during its Dragon Ball stream tonight

Or could it be something else?

Bandai Namco is planning to host a special livestream later tonight for both Dragon Ball FighterZ and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 that could reveal brand new fighters for two of the company’s flagship games.

The stream will be part of a show called the “Dragon Ball Games Super Showcase,” which is set to begin at 6pm CT on Twitch. Bandai is promising big reveals, news, and interviews from the producers of the games but didn’t specify exactly what will be shown off.

Of course, while many signs are pointing towards a second season of DLC content, Bandai could also just be generating hype around the stream to promote other things it is bringing to the titles in the future, such as new modes or cosmetics.

The finals of the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour is also happening at the end of the month on Jan. 27. It will bring together some of the best fighters from around the world, who will be facing off for the $25,000 prize pool—so Bandai could also potentially tease an announcement for the event during the show instead.

Regardless, anyone that loves Dragon Ball FighterZ or Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 should tune in later to see what exactly Bandai has up its sleeve.
