How to get the Graven-Mass Talisman in Elden Ring

A must-have for any Intelligence build.

Elden Ring has several different talismans to choose from when you’re looking for that endgame damage boost. Most of these talismans boost a certain stat while others directly affect spellcasting. One of the best Sorcery-based talismans is the Graven-Mass Talisman.

This is how you can find it.

The Graven-Mass Talisman is an Intelligence-based talisman in Elden Ring. Acquiring this talisman is worth it since it has no better upgrade in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. To start with, you will have to make your way to the Grand Lift of Rold atop the Mountaintops of the Giants.

From here, you must access the Consecrated Snowfield to get to your prize. You can only do this after collecting both halves of the Haligtree Secret Medallion.

Acquiring the Haligtree Secret Medallion

The Haligtree Secret Medallion has to be combined from two halves found at varying destinations. The right half of the medallion can be found in the Village of the Albinaurics in Liurnia of the Lakes. Take the path up from the Site of Grace and defeat the Perfumer, then hit the nearby pots until you find a disguised Albus to get your first half.

The left half of the medallion is found in Castle Sol, which is back at the Mountaintops of the Giants. Clear this mini-dungeon until you fight Commander Niall and defeat him in battle. After the battle, head to the roof of the tower to find the second half of the Haligtree Secret Medallion.

Now that you have both halves, go back to the Grand Lift of Rold and a new option should appear: Hoist Secret Medallion. When you do this, you will gain access to the Consecrated Snowfield.

Finding the Graven-Mass Talisman

Once you reach the Consecrated Snowfield, head directly northeast, running past all the enemies you encounter. Your vision will be greatly affected by the blizzard here, so keep moving until you get out of it. Head to the highest point of the region just before you encounter the frozen river to find Albinauric Rise, a tower that holds the talisman you seek.

As is with every sealed tower, you will have to solve a puzzle to get past it. This puzzle will have you kill a Fanged Imp using another Fanged Imp. There are two methods to solve this puzzle.

  • The first method involves summoning your Fanged Imps using the Fanged Imp Ashes and using them to kill one of the patrolling Fanged Imps.
  • The second method will have you charm one of the patrolling Fanged Imps by using a Bewitching Branch and use him to kill the other Fanged Imp.

No matter how you solve the puzzle, the tower will then unlock. Simply climb to the top and pick up the Graven-Mass Talisman from a horde of crystals.
