All voice actors in Destiny 2 Lightfall

You have a star-studded support team, Guardian.

The Destiny franchise has long fielded a roster of impressive acting talents across both of its main titles, including some of the most well-regarded voice actors and traditional screen actors of all time. Across two different titles and several expansions, there have been numerous big names to step into the recording booth or wear the motion capture suit across the series’ history.

The game’s latest expansion, Lightfall, introduced a whole bunch of new stuff to the game, including a new Darkness power in Strand and a new location. It also introduced some new characters and brought back some old ones.

Given how massive the entire cast list for Destiny 2 is, we’ve decided to focus solely on the characters who appear in the Lightfall campaign.

Commander Zavala – Lance Reddick

Lance Reddick has provided the voice for Titan Vanguard Commander Zavala since the very first Destiny game. In fact, he’s the only member of the original three vanguards to provide the voice to his characters across both titles. Reddick also voiced the character Sylens in both Horizon games and is well known for his screen performances in The Wire and Fringe. Tragically, Reddick passed away suddenly on March 17, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving a massive hole in the hearts of every Destiny fan.

Ikora Rey – Mara Junot

Mara Junot has voiced the Warlock Vanguard Ikora Rey since Season of the Splicer, taking over the role from Gina Torres. Junot has provided voice work across numerous video games for years, including roles in some of gaming’s biggest series like Call of Duty, Fortnite, Mortal Kombat, League of Legends, and God of War, among several others.

Ghost – Nolan North

Nolan North is one of the most recognizable voices in video game voice acting and has voiced both Ghost and Cayde-6 since taking over the roles from Peter Dinklage and Nathon Fillion, respectively. North is most well known for playing the iconic Nathan Drake in the Uncharted series but has also voiced major characters across numerous franchises.

Emperor Calus – Darin De Paul

Darin De Paul has been a prominent voice actor for decades and has returned to voice the villainous Emperor Calus after originally voicing the character back in 2017. De Paul has also voiced Dr. Samuel Hayden / Seraphim in Doom and Reinhardt in Overwatch. Calus isn’t even De Paul’s first time voicing an emperor, having previously voiced Emperor Valkorion in the Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO.

The Witness – Brett Dalton

Brett Dalton voices the mysterious and powerful antagonist known as The Witness. Dalton gained attention as an on-screen actor for his portrayal of Grant Ward in the Marvel series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and supplied both his voice and likeness to the game Until Dawn.

Nimbus – Marin Miller

Marin M. Miller is an accomplished voice actor with years of experience in gaming and animation and plays the fun-loving Nimbus of the Cloud Striders. Nimbus is the game’s first non-binary character and is voiced Miller, who is also non-binary. Miller’s voice acting credits in gaming include work in Dead Space, Hades, and Fire Emblem Heroes. 

Rohan – Dave Fennoy

Dave Fennoy voices the stoic and serious Rohan of the Cloud Striders. Fennoy has over 25 years of voice acting experience in video games. He voiced the beloved protagonist Lee Everett in The Walking Dead series by Telltale and played major roles in franchises like Arkham, Starcraft, Metal Gear Solid, and many, many more.

Osiris – Oded Fehr

Oded Fehr voices the legendary Warlock Osiris, a former member of the Vanguard and a pivotal character across numerous stories. Fehr is an Israelian actor most well known for his roles in The Mummy franchise. He’s also voiced characters in animated shows like Justice League, Scooby-Doo, and various Batman projects.

Queen Mara Sov – Kirsten Potter

Kirsten Potter plays Mara Sov, Queen of the Reef, ruler of the Awoken, and former Kell of the House of Wolves. Potter has a lengthy history of voice characters in games, in series like Saints Row and Soulcalibur, but is likely recognized by most gamers as the voice of the character Caitlyn in League of Legends and Legends of Runeterra.

Amanda Holliday – Courtenay Taylor

Courtenay Taylor voices the shipwright and pilot Amanda Holliday. Taylor is one of video game voice acting’s most recognized names with over two decades of credits across various titles. Her most prominent roles include Jack in the Mass Effect series, Ada Wong in Resident Evil, and the female protagonist in Fallout 4.
