You can use the new AutoDrive feature to summon an autonomous ride—you can either head to your destination or take a scenic ride if there’s no definite location.

Photo Mode changes and quality of life improvements

Photo Mode has been overhauled—now 27 new non-playable characters are available for spawn, such as Rita Wheeler, the Cassel twins, Dum Dum, and even Brendan the vending machine.

You can now switch NPC outfits and toggle between V’s saved Wardrobe presets. New customization features have been added to the Look-At Camera option, allowing characters’ eyes to follow the camera independently of body position.

The update also introduces numerous new stickers, frames, postcard-style overlays, enhanced Depth of Field controls, and a new Color Balance tab that lets you apply custom photo filters.

On the quality of life and accessibility front, Cyberpunk 2077 now detects if you’re using inverted mouse settings and adjusts prompts accordingly. A toggle for aim-down-sights has been added to the control settings menu.

Numerous job-related issues have also been addressed, such as objectives not updating or displaying correctly in missions like “Cyberpsycho Sighting: Bloody Ritual”, “Shot by Both Sides”, and more.

Gameplay Fixes

Certain gameplay fixes include resolving a controller-specific issue in the “Trauma Drama” mission where characters aimed incorrectly, and automatic weapons now fire at their intended rate.

Additional Cyberware Capacity Shards will now drop correctly, and issues related to perks such as the level 60 Engineer perk triggering outside of combat have been fixed. Now, you also have the option to replay the gameplay tutorial through the settings menu.

PC-specific and console updates

If you own the game on PC, some significant upgrades have been brought to the table.

Support for AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution 4 has been introduced, DLSS behavior has been improved, including accurate preset settings and expanded tooltips. The update also adds functionality such as moving the cursor across displays in Windowed Borderless mode, expanding the maximum save file size from 12 MB to 15 MB, and allowing players to rebind the vehicle ejection key for the Stuntjock perk.

Those who own the game on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S now have Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support. A visual bug affecting foliage interaction with weather effects on PS5 has also been addressed.
