Who is VALORANT Agent 24? All Iso details

From the Philippines to Los Angeles and everywhere in between, VALORANT boasts one of the most diverse agent selects in gaming. Even though there is already a plethora of different characters to choose from with many different abilities, Riot Games is ready to introduce the 24th agent into the fray.

Character producer John Goscicki hinted at the newest agent in the latest State of the Agents developer blog back in September, teasing an agent of precision that will fill the void for ego peekers that want to aim down mid, grab a pick or two, and lead their teammates on the scoreboard.

On Oct. 19, VALORANT fans finally got all the information they wanted for the new agent Iso, including his ability kit and lore background. Here’s everything we know so far about Agent 24, the new duelist coming to VALORANT.

All VALORANT abilities for Agent 24, Iso

Iso’s ability kit is built for players that emphasize precision and confidence, and is tailor made for the mechanically gifted that have spent hours on end getting better in the training range or Aim Labs.

(E) Double Tap

• Start a focus timer. Once completed, enter a flow state during which downed enemies you kill or damage generate an energy orb. Shooting this orb grants you a shield that absorbs one instance of damage from any source.

(Q) Undercut

• Equip a molecular bolt. Fire to throw it forward, applying a brief fragile to all players
  it touches. The bolt can pass through solid objects, including walls.

(C) Contingency

• Equip to assemble prismatic energy. Fire to push an indestructible wall of energy forward that blocks bullets.

(X / Ultimate) Kill Contract

• Equip an interdimensional arena. Fire to hurl a column of energy through the battlefield, pulling you and the first enemy hit into the arena. You and your opponent duel to the death.

Double Tap and Kill Contract were made for player flowing with confidence, but Contingency might sneakily be the most valuable piece of utility, since Iso can use it to completely cut off angles to allow safe passage onto a site.

VALORANT‘s Iso character bio and lore

A Chinese fixer for hire, Iso is a lethal assassin with a deadly reputation. In his reveal trailer, several Kingdom mercenaries describe him as “a bulletproof wizard” that can take out “an entire squad with one round.” One mercenary shared Iso’s nickname, “The Dead Lilac,” which is a reference to “the purple flash you see before you die.” While the wording initially suggested a potential flash ability, this appears to be referencing the Kill Contract ability effect.

At the end of his trailer, Iso dispatched the Kingdom targets, but is then tasked with a new one: Omen. Iso has supposedly taken out everyone connected to Kingdom’s research into a mysterious substance. He has a bandage under his right eye.
