One True King suspends co-owner Mizkif after AdrianahLee ‘cover up’ accusations come to light

Esports organization One True King has released its first official statement since allegations were made about a founding member of the company, Twitch streamer Mizkif. As of now, he has been placed on leave, pending the results of an investigation.

In the statement, OTK explained they would be enlisting the help of a third-party legal organization to investigate the allegations and until that is complete Mizkif will step away from his duties within the organization.

The org assures fans they will provide updates as the investigation continues.

Earlier this week, Mizkif was accused of taking part in covering up an alleged assault that took place in 2020. Following this, footage surfaced that showcased the streamer brushing the incident off as “not really a big deal.”

The individual accused of assaulting streamer AdrianahLee, Crazyslick is a streamer who has lived with Mizkif. In a new statement speaking on the allegations, Mizkif said that he now realizes he was deceived by Slick and has told him to vacate the house as soon as possible.

The streamer also elaborated on the clip claiming that chat messages got to him and apologizing to those affected.

“A little while after Slick’s misconduct came to light last year, I made some inexcusable statements on an alt-stream after some chat messages got to me,” Mizkif’s statement reads.

“To Adrianah and all those affected by sexual harassment, I am sorry for those statements. Sexual harassment, regardless of degree, can never be considered “small”, and while my intention was to clarify a misleading chat message, I chose my words poorly and my response came off as downplaying what should never be downplayed.”

With the third-party investigation currently in the works, it remains to be seen if and when Mizkif will be reinstated within One True King and in what role.
