AFK Journey Inventory Sort quest solution

AFK Journey’s Phillip’s Worries quest, also known as Inventory Sort, occurs multiple times during the early and mid-game as a Town Quest. While its early stages are easy to complete, finding the solution to the Vaduso Mountains version is quite challenging.

AFK Journey Inventory Sort mini-game solutions

Vaduso Mountains (stage six)

The solution to the Inventory Sort town quest in Vaduso Mountains is shown in the picture above. To get to this point, you need to:

1. Place the top of the Z-shaped floral arrangement in the two top slots.
2. Put the three-tile stone statue in the right corner (next to the floral arrangement).
3. Add the yellow gem in the gap between the flowers and the statue.
4. Place the long-stem roses horizontally with the right edge touching the stone statue.
5. Put the two-tile deer idol under the stem roses.
6. Position the standalone rose next to the deer, under the stems.
7. Position the yellow twig to the far left.
8. Place the backpack in the remaining center slot.

Once you finish this, you’ll have completed the Inventory Sort of Phillip’s Worries in stage six of Town Quests. You’ll receive some experience, Essence, and Soul Stones in return. Although these rewards are not in great quantity, they add up nicely as you complete other side quests.

Vaduso Mountains (stage seven)

1. Place the long-stem roses horizontally in the bottom right.
2. Put the broken gear in the bottom left.
3. Position the long stone statue on the right, above the roses.
4. Fit the primitive staff horizontally in the top row.
5. Place the long-stem purple flowers above the roses and next to the broken gear adjacent to the stone statue.
6. Position the deer statue and the potion bottle next to each other and to the left of the stone statue.
7. Place the yellow gemstone in the final remaining slot.

Remnant Peaks (stage eight)

1. Place the z-shaped floral arrangement in the two top-left slots.
2. Place the L-shaped purple flowers to its right, filling the top row.
3. Put the stone statue in the left column, touching the top part of the z-shaped floral arrangement.
4. Fit the long-stem roses under the statue.
5. Place the yellow gemstone in the bottom right slot (next to the rose).
6. Add the deer statue directly above the yellow gemstone.
7. Fit the elven bow in the remaining slots in the center of the bag.

Remnant Peaks (stage 11)

For the first bag:

1. Place the hourglass on the top slot.
2. Put the stone statue on the left column.
3. Fit the floral floral arrangement under the hourglass, touching the statue.
4. Place the broken gear on the bottom right.
5. Put the yellow gemstone in the bottom left slot.

For the second bag:

1. Place the primitive staff on the top row, touching the top right slot
2. Fit one of the yellow gemstones next to the staff, filling up the top row
3. Put the purple flowers directly under the staff, touching it
4. Fit the red floral arrangement under the purple flowers, with its top in the third row
5. Place the bow to the right of the red floral arrangement around its bottom edge.
6. Fit the last yellow gemstone under the bow in the bottom right slot.
7. Place the broken gear to the left of the red floral arrangement, as close to the top left as possible.
8. Fit the orange stems in the remaining slots on the bottom left.

You’ll also encounter Phillip’s Worries and inventory sorting in other regions of AFK Journey, specifically in the Dark Forest and Golden Wheatshire. These stages feature less complex bags to sort and are easy to figure out by trial and error. The only tricky stages that many players struggle with are the Vaduso Mountains’ and Remnant Peaks’ because of how large their bags are.
