VALORANT Masters Toronto, the second major tournament featuring teams qualified from all over the globe, is now finally over.

The winners from the four regions advanced directly to the Playoffs, while the second and third-placed teams had to go through the Swiss Stage. After all the action, Paper Rex emerged as the winners after beating FNATIC.

VALORANT Masters Toronto 2025 start and end dates

VALORANT Masters Toronto took place from June 7 to 22, 2025. The Swiss Stage took place from June 7 to 11, while the Playoffs were held from June 13 to 22.

While the Swiss Stage was interesting to watch, as only four out of the eight teams were allowed to proceed to the Playoffs and join the winners of Americas, China, EMEA, and Pacific Stage 1, Playoffs had the real action.

A total of 12 teams have qualified for VALORANT Masters Toronto 2025:

  • G2 Esports (Americas Stage 1 winner)
  • Xi Lai Gaming (China Stage 1 winner)
  • FNATIC (EMEA Stage 1 winner)
  • Rex Regum Qeon (Pacific Stage 1 winner)
  • Sentinels (Americas Stage 1 runner-up)
  • MIBR (Americas Stage 1 third place)
  • Bilibili Gaming (China Stage 1 runner-up)
  • Wolves Esports (China Stage 1 third place)
  • Gen.G (Pacific Stage 1 runner-up)
  • Paper Rex (Pacific Stage 1 third place)
  • Team Heretics (EMEA Stage 1 runner-up)
  • Team Liquid (EMEA Stage 1 third place)

VALORANT Masters Toronto 2025 format

Regarding the format of the Masters Toronto, the tournament began with a Swiss Stage, where the runner-ups and third-placed teams faced off against each other in three rounds.

Round 1

June 7: Team Heretics (TH) went against Paper Rex (PRX), while Bilibili Gaming (BLG) went against Team Liquid (TL).

June 8: Sentinels (SEN) went against Wolves Esports (WOL), while Gen.G (GEN) went against MIBR.

The winners of these two days played Round 2 High Matches on June 9, whereas the losing teams played the Round 2 Low Matches on June 10. The losing teams from Round 2 got eliminated.

The Round 3 Matches started on June 11. Four winning teams from Round 2 competed to get a higher seed in the Playoffs. All matches were Best of 3.

Playoffs

The Playoffs had an Upper and Lower bracket system.

All matches, excluding the Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final, are Best of 3. The Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final were Best of 5.

Like always, all the action from VALORANT was available on their official Twitch channel. All you had to do was tune in during the match timings, and you would find some of your favorite streamers co-streaming the tournament along with their viewers.

Now that VALORANT Masters Toronto has concluded, all teams will return to compete in Stage 2 of their respective regions from July 12.
