After the win, Heretics player Ričardas “Boo” Lukaševičius said, “I’m so proud that we actually started playing the game and we won. We stuck with the same roster, many organizations wouldn’t do the same, they want fast results, the coaching staff trusted us, and we worked hard for it. When you work hard, finally, one time you win.”

With this win, Heretics take home $500,000 and 1,000 EWC Club Points. Mert “Wo0t” Alkan was awarded the MVP award.

Fnatic, on the other hand, ended up with $230,000 and 750 EWC Club Points for their second-place finish. They have been the back-to-back runner-up team, starting from the VALORANT Masters Toronto, and they looked solid throughout the tournament.

After coming second in VCT EMEA Stage 1 earlier this year, Heretics finally managed to add a trophy to their cabinet. Right after this, Heretics and Fnatic will head back to their region and compete in VCT EMEA Stage 2 for a chance at the ultimate tournament, VALORANT Champions, in September.
