Nadeshot reveals horrifying total amount of cash he’s spent on VALORANT skins

I guess this is what all of those 100T merch drops are funding.

Not many people have had as much overall success in esports as someone like Matt “Nadeshot” Haag.

The former Call of Duty pro for OpTic Gaming, current popular streamer, and founder of 100 Thieves has found himself fortunate and blessed across all angles of the industry. And so, he’s made a good name for himself and laid a good foundation for his family. Nadeshot has found a new addiction in the FPS VALORANT, too. But with that level of commitment and enjoyment sometimes comes a good amount of spending, as is the case with free-to-play games that earn their revenue through features like cosmetics.

Today while streaming, Nadeshot and his chat had the idea to check just how much money he’s spent on VALORANT over the years, and he and his chat were both shocked and somewhat appalled at what he saw.

“This was the worst idea we truly have ever had,” Nadeshot said after checking the information on the Riot Games website. “I think I’m gonna throw up,” he said before revealing the number. As of today, his total spend on VALORANT skins and cosmetics was a shocking $10,398.96.

VALORANT skins are definitely on the expensive side sometimes, with some bundles priced at over $100. But that total spending amount is still quite high, even for the most dedicated gamers and wealthy among us. Damn.

Any VALORANT player has the ability to check their purchase history online, but should be prepared for a shocking revelation or bit of hard truth. Either way, Nadeshot’s sobering moment today should serve as a reminder to everyone to keep their spending in check lest they lose the family farm while adding colorful pixels to their favorite video game characters or weapons.
