Police take Fanum’s car after pulling him over with guns drawn

They didn't even call a tow truck.

Twitch streamer Fanum had his Lamborghini seized by NYPD officers on Sunday after being pulled over during a livestream. The incident occurred during the Dominican Day Parade that Fanum was attending.

The moment captured on the live stream showed an officer approaching Fanum’s vehicle with his gun drawn. The streamer, audibly confused, was heard asking, “Why does he have his gun out? Get the camera on this, bro,” before having the live stream pan towards the officer walking towards his car with a gun pointed at him. The stream ended shortly after the crew got out of the car and the events that followed were captured on Fanum and Ray’s Snapchat stories.

In Fanum’s Snapchat stories that were uploaded onto X (Formerly Twitter), we see Fanum confronting the police while his driver Walton was being put into handcuffs and arrested, followed by an officer sitting in the driver’s seat and then driving off with the car while Fanum was left stranded on the streets, surrounded by fans just as perplexed as he was. Ray’s Snapchat story, was also uploaded onto X, shows the presence of helicopter surveillance on the scene.

The reason behind the NYPD’s actions against the Any Means Possible member is still unknown, but photos of his car, a purple Lamborghini Urus, have surfaced on social media after it was seized. The images show what appears to be an NYPD officer posing in front of the seized car with the caption, “Dominican day parade they outside we outside too.” Kai Cenat, another popular AMP member, replied to the post expressing his frustrations regarding the incident: ”NYPDK[sic] FUCK EM.”

Both Fanum and the NYPD are yet to come out with statements on the incident, so we’ll have to wait to find out what the reason was behind the whole ordeal.
