The hackers just won't quit.

Anti-cheat company BattlEye has banned 322,000 cheaters from PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds so far, which is more than double the number that was announced just last month. Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Greene confirmed over 150,000 bans on Sept. 13, and now, BattlEye posted the new number today, exactly one month later. That’s a big increase in cheats.

BattlEye later said that it is banning cheaters at a rate of 6,000 to 13,000 per day, and 20,000 in the last 24 hours alone. The majority of the bans have come from China, where the game is booming in popularity. At the end of September, around 42 percent of the game’s active playerbase were from China, according to SteamSpy. The new number from BattlEye does not include the accounts that have been banned directly by Bluehole, however. This news follows a report that Fortnite: Battle Royale developer Epic Games is suing cheaters who have used hacks in its game. It’s clear that developers are not playing around anymore when it comes to those trying to gain an unfair advantage in their games.
