Team Liquid hires 7Teen as coach ahead of PUBG Europe League

The team is one of the favorites going into the league.

Team Liquid has recruited Tanner “7Teen” Curtis as the coach of its PUBG roster just weeks before the European league gets under way.

7Teen is a former professional PUBG player, representing organizations such as OpTic Gaming and Team Secret. During his time competing, he achieved a number of top-five placements at LAN events such as IEM Katowice 2018 and GLL Season 1 Grand Finals.

Team Liquid is a favorite heading into the PUBG European League, one of six regional leagues put together by developer PUBG Corp. The team is often referred to as one of the best in the game, having achieved two second-place finishes at the PUBG Global Invitational in 2018.

The official start date of the PUBG European League was announced by PUBG Corp. and StarLadder on March 5. Kicking off on March 21, Team Liquid and 15 other squads will relocate to Berlin, Germany to compete in the first phase of the competition.
