The spooky season kicked off in PUBG with the return of Survivors Left Behind, allowing you to once again squad up in FPP (first-person perspective) and lay waste of many zombie waves (Hungers) as you refuel the disabled generators to escape the gloomy area eventually.

Here’s everything you need to know to start playing the Survivors Left Behind LTM in PUBG, along with all the rewards you can earn from the event for free and otherwise.

You can participate in the Survivors Left Behind event in PUBG through the Arcade section on PC until 2am CT on Thursday, Oct. 10. The same event for consoles will go live at 2am. CT on Sept. 26 and will be available until Oct. 17.

But before you start battling the zombies, make sure to link your Krafton account to the event in question to enable your points’ tracking and collect the secret crate with free rewards.

Here’s how to link your PUBG account to Survivors Left Behind:

  1. Head over to the Veil of Taego event page here.
  2. Scroll below and click the big Krafton ID Log-in button.
  3. Sign in using your Krafton account, or use the account on the platform you use to play.

You can now see a prompt on the same page indicating that you’re participating in the event. Alternatively, you can launch PUBG and simply tap on the Survivors Left Behind box on the right side of your home screen. Doing so will open the event page on your browser and automatically link your account.

Once linked, you’ll receive a Top Secret Crate that you can open by heading over to the Customize section and then Utility. Opening this crate will give you four free rewards:

  • Chemical Warfare spray
  • Hunter’s Chest
  • 10 Contraband Coupons
  • One Key (to open up the Hunter’s Chest)

Once logged in, you can scroll below on the event’s page to check the total points you’ve earned through clearing hoards of zombies. Based on the highest tier you’ve achieved throughout the event, you will receive the following rewards after the event ends:

  • Rookie Survivor Crate (50,000 points): Rookie Survivor badge, 10 Contraband Coupons, One Hunter’s Chest, One Key, 50 Polymer
  • Intermediate Survivor Crate (100,000 points): Intermediate Survivor badge, 20 Contraband Coupons, One Hunter’s Chest, One Key, 100 Polymer
  • Expert Survivor Crate (150,000 points): Expert Survivor badge, 30 Contraband Coupons, Two Hunter’s Chest, Two Keys, 150 Polymer
  • Master Survivor Crate (200,000 points): Master Survivor badge, 50 Contraband Coupons, Three Hunter’s Chest, Three Keys, 200 Polymer, Tythonic Lab Safety Goggles

You earn points for every zombie killed, supporting your teammates, and, most importantly, clearing a stage (escaping while alive).

To increase your odds of clearing Survivors Left Behind stages, ensure you’re reviving your teammates when they’re knocked—which will undoubtedly happen when the massive zombie spawns with a wave. You can also throw healing in an area or use a grenade to quickly dispatch the swarming zombies preventing your allies from moving.
