When it comes to having the edge in shooter games, frame rates are of the utmost importance—and PUBG Mobile is no different. In 2024, 90 frames per second (fps) has become the minimum standard for ranked grind and pro play. Unfortunately, not all devices are capable of delivering such frame rates.

To run PUBG Mobile at 90 fps, your device must feature a display that can support a refresh rate of up to 90 frames per second or higher.

Luckily, almost all mid-end and high-end Android mobile phones nowadays offer displays with 90 fps native support. If you’re an iOS user, however, base and old-gen iPhone models only support a maximum screen refresh rate of 60. While we’ve tried to include every eligible phone on the list, we may have missed a few due to the ever-increasing number of mobile devices in the market. We recommend going through the phone’s specs you want to purchase and ensuring its display supports a 90 fps refresh rate or higher to meet your requirements.

Tip:

Technically, any phone with native 90 fps support should be able to run PUBG Mobile at 90 fps. However, it also depends on the processor, RAM optimization, and additional performance factors. We recommend going for the newer phone models, as they are likely embedded with capable performance specs to deliver a consistent experience without frame drops.

How to enable 90 fps in PUBG Mobile

Launch PUBG Mobile, open the in-game settings, and go to the Graphics & Audio tab. Here, select the 90 fps frame rate setting. If you don’t see the 90 fps option, try lowering your graphics settings to unlock it. That’s it—you’re now ready to conquer the game of survival.
