There’s a new cat in town, and after weeks of being teased with Yuumi’s adorable fluffiness, League of Legends fans will finally get to try out the game’s newest champion.
With her book of portals, Yuumi, the Magical Cat, joins the game’s cast of champions on a mission to find her master with the release of Patch 9.10. Although the patch’s full list of notes was released today, League‘s newest champion won’t become available until tomorrow.

As a new support mage, the Magical Cat will hit the Rift with a unique set of abilities. Yuumi’s kit revolves around her ability to attach to allies with her W, You and Me!, which allows her to dash a short distance and become untargetable by all incoming attacks, except for tower damage.
While attached to a teammate, she follows her ally and grants the anchor a shield with her passive ability. Yuumi and her anchor share a percent of each other’s physical or magic damage converted to adaptive force. Likewise, Yuumi won’t be able to auto attack while attached to her ally, but she can still cast abilities from their location.
Yuumi’s Q, Prowling Projectile, launches a missile that can be controlled by Yuumi while she’s attached to an ally. The longer the missile is in flight, the more damage it does upon collision with an enemy.
Her E, Zoomies, has two charges and grants the Magical Cat a heal and short burst of movement speed upon cast. If she’s attached to a teammate, however, the spell casts on her ally.
Lastly, for her ultimate ability, Final Chapter, Yuumi sends out waves of magic damage that root enemies after multiple waves land. The support champion can move, attach to allies, and heal while casting the ability.
