David “Repertoir” Capurro tweeted out the state of Patch 9.6, saying that they were applying buffs to nine champions, including Caitlyn, Ornn, Xayah, and Urgot. He also listed out the champions getting nerfed in the next patch, like Zoe, Sylas, LeBlanc, and Rek’sai.

He also answered some questions to what the changes were going to be in the replies below his tweet. There were some big changes in store for a few champions. For example, Zoe’s Sleepy Trouble Bubble is getting a cooldown increase, going from 16/15/14/13/12 seconds to 20/18.5/17/15.5/14 seconds. The slow on the ability is also getting reduced from 10/20/30/40/50 percent to 10/15/20/25/30 percent.

For people who think Sylas was too powerful because of that incredible heal on his W ability, look no further. League‘s resident ultimate-stealer is getting a pretty significant nerf to Kingslayer, as its healing multiplier at low health is decreasing from 200 percent to 175 percent.

Repertoir also detailed changes to Nautilus, Gnar, Sylas, Shen, LeBlanc, and Morgana. As for the numerous complaints about Riven, Repertoir said that “she really doesn’t seem to be near the strongest option in the game”. In fact, he says that the complaints about Riven are strictly a western phenomenon and that they need to focus on trends across all regions.

Repertoir ended the conversation about Riven by saying that if her performance improves a bit more from where it is now, then she may get some love in Patch 9.7. Until then, don’t expect any changes to her. Also, all the changes can be subject to adjustments before the next patch, so don’t be surprised if some of the numbers are different when 9.6 rolls through.
