Riot gives first glimpse of T1’s Worlds 2024 skins

Legends are getting their legacy immortalized.

With back-to-back World Championship victories, T1 has solidified its status as League of Legends’ undisputed Korean dynasty—a legacy soon to be immortalized with the upcoming Worlds 2024 Championship skins.

Riot Games has shared a first look at these cosmetics, which blend legendary League moments with the unparalleled legacy of T1’s superstar roster, honoring their historic victory last November 2024. The developer has finally ended all speculation by officially revealing the champion selections for the upcoming T1 skins, with each member of the iconic ZOFGK roster—Zeus, Oner, Faker, Gumayusi, and Keria—choosing a signature champion to represent their 2024 championship run.

Each of the skins showcases the champions they played during their dominant title run, along with custom animations, recall effects, and subtle tributes to T1’s legacy as five-time world champions.

Starting with Zeus, who has chosen Gnar. The cosmetic includes a recall animation that captures a funny moment in the post-final presentation, where he accidentally hits himself with the trophy while lifting it. T1’s jungler, Oner, has selected Vi as his champion of choice, which fittingly reflects his aggressive and decisive playstyle. The skin’s recall animation adds a personal touch, featuring Oner casually hoisting the Summoner’s Cup with his jacket draped over his shoulder, perfectly capturing his swagger.

The Unkillable Demon King, Faker, continues to expand his collection of cosmetics. After being named MVP of the Worlds finals, he earned the right to an additional cosmetic item. After asking his fans for recommendations, he ultimately selected Yone for his signature skin. The cosmetic pulls out the legendary Shush pose in the recall, which pays homage to one of his iconic poses and his act of silencing the doubters. He will also receive a shining Sylas Prestige skin to honor his unpredictable and impactful plays during the tournament with the champion.

Gumayusi’s Varus skin immortalizes one of the tournament’s most memorable moments: his enthusiastic endorsement of a giant croissant during the team’s time in France, complete with a recall animation. Keria rounds out the lineup by choosing Pyke for his signature skin, commemorating his mastery of playmaking support with a special recall featuring a pirate, who opens up his chest with two Worlds trophies and eying the next one.

Overall, the cosmetics embody T1’s black-and-red identity through sleek, prestige-themed designs. This year, the developer took a notably darker and grittier visual direction, a striking departure from last year’s Worlds skins, which featured a much brighter and lighter color palette.

The extended wait for the reveal of T1’s Worlds skins has now made more sense, as the early concept art featured different champion choices for Zeus and Keria, including Camille and Renata Glasc. This shift suggests the developers took extra time to refine the skins based on player input or thematic cohesion, ultimately leading to final selections that better reflect both the players’ identities and their memorable performances.

These skins represent more than just cosmetic items for the fans because they’re a piece of esports history. A portion of the proceeds from their sales will go directly to T1 and the players, continuing a long-standing tradition that rewards teams for defining moments on the game’s biggest stage. All T1 Worlds 2024 skins have already hit the PBE server, with a live server release on Sept. 10, 2025.

T1 should be going to Worlds 2025 in China later this year, where they will defend their title again and pursue a feat never before achieved in League history: winning three consecutive World Championships.
