Pulsefire Ezreal is being updated to look (almost) as cool as the newer Ultimate skins

The five-year-old skin is finally being brought up to snuff.

When we spotted the Pulsefire Caitlyn teaser in the PBE a couple weeks ago, we guessed that a Pulsefire Ezreal update may be on the way. It was pretty obvious an update to the skin was coming, and yesterday the new Pulsefire Ezreal hit the PBE—and it looks much, much better than the pixelated mess that’s in the game right now.

Okay, that’s a bit of an exaggeration. It isn’t that bad, but in a land of Elementalist Lux and DJ Sona, it certainly looks subpar. The new Pulsefire Ezreal is getting updated textures and animations, as well as a brand-new voiceover.

The new ability and non-ability animations are very badass, and the new recall animation isn’t too shabby either. This update was a long time coming, and hopefully it will make purchasing the skin more worthwhile, especially because it’s so expensive at 3250 RP (roughly $30 USD).

Pulsefire Caitlyn is also on the PBE, and it’s an awesome skin in its own right. If you’d like to check out the skins, you’ll need a League of Legends PBE account. If you don’t have one, you’ll have to wait until Patch 7.10 to get your hands the new skins.
