Hextech Kog’Maw’s splash art is adorable

Get to opening those loot boxes for a chance to get the skin.

Hextech Kog’Maw is expected to hit Summoner’s Rift in the next few weeks.

In order to prepare for the skin, Riot has released the splash art for Hextech Kog’Maw on the League of Legends PBE.

The splash art shows Kog’Maw literally bursting out of a loot box for one lucky owner. The person in question is holding a Hextech key, most likely looking to open his next box just underneath where Kog’Maw is standing.

Players will only be able to unlock the new Kog’Maw skin through loot boxes, so it’s fitting that his splash art is someone literally unlocking him from said box.

The skin is expected to come out sometime in Patch 7.24, bringing with it the long-awaited festive skins for Jinx, Draven, and Poppy.
