Kog’Maw is the next champion to join the Hextech skin line

Will we need ten Gemstones to unlock this one as well?

Kog’Maw is getting a new skin, with the reveal of Hextech Kog’Maw in League of Legends.

The skin was released into the PBE alongside the new PROJECT skins and new champion Zoe, who are expected to come out sometime during Patch 7.23.

Hextech Kog’Maw is the seventh Hextech skin, following Hextech Annie’s release last year. Currently, the only way to get Hextech Annie is to get ten hard-to-find Gemstones in loot boxes and combine them to get the skin.

Kog’Maw isn’t the only skin expected to come out in a later patch. New Christmas-themed skins were teased on Riot’s social media for Jinx, Draven, and Poppy and are part of the yearly holiday skin arsenal. They are expected to be released as part of Patch 7.24 alongside Kog’Maw sometime in December.
