Crypt Custodian is full of puzzles, and while most take only a few mere tries to find a solution, the floor lights puzzle in Neon Crest is quite the head-scratcher.

It seems easy when you reach the floor lights puzzle in Neon Crest. To solve the puzzle, you need to step on the circular tiles to light them up and connect them in the correct pattern. But there are very few clues as to the correct pattern, leaving you running between the tiles in hopes of accidentally stumbling upon the solution. It took me multiple trials and errors before I finally solved this puzzle out of sheer luck.

To solve the floor lights puzzle in Crypt Custodian, follow these steps:

1. Start with the lower-left tile
2. Head right
3. Move upwards to the middle tile
4. Step to the left tile
5. Cross diagonally to the northernmost tile
6. Head diagonally down to the right
7. Step on the final remaining tile, the bottom right circle, to complete the pattern

Once you’ve solved the puzzle, the gate lowers, and you can proceed to the northern room. There, you’ll find the Constellation Special Attack, which attacks every enemy on the screen—a powerful ability you’ll definitely want to keep equipped.
