Does TCG Card Shop Simulator have multiplayer?

Can you make your own card shop with your friends?

TCG Card Shop Simulator has taken off on Steam, with over 10,000 players creating their own store and trying to unlock everything on offer, but it can be a bit lonely slogging away by yourself. Many fans are hoping for some form of multiplayer in the future.

After all, as your store expands, it’s hard to keep track of all the restocking and selling even with NPC helpers. Having someone else to play with also helps to create a more exciting experience for certain players. So, is there any multiplayer mode on the horizon?

TCG Card Shop Simulator currently doesn’t have multiplayer, which is a bit of a letdown for those wanting to open a card shop with their friends online. It is only single-player, but as the game is in early access, there’s a chance that multiplayer could eventually be added in the future.

At the time of writing, the game is currently at v.033 and is getting nearly daily updates, with changes to the game to make it more enjoyable. The game’s roadmap also includes some interesting mechanics to excite its booming player base.

These features include organizing card game tournaments in your shop with prizes, more different product types, the chance to grade your cards, and, most excitingly, the ability to play the game yourself instead of watching NPCs come in and play the game. So you’ll finally have a use for any cards you open outside of selling them or using the workshop to make your own custom packs.

But outside of these cool features, multiplayer is nowhere to be seen on the roadmap, and hasn’t been hinted at. If you want multiplayer, it might be worth heading over to the game’s Steam forums to let the developers know it’s something you are interested in. Otherwise, don’t get your hopes of a random multiplayer update anytime soon, and be prepared to grind away solo instead.

As the game is still in early access and has only been out for a few days, there are a lot of bugs and balancing the team appears to be focusing on instead before adding any new features or items. Accordingly, even the things on the roadmap will take some time.
